Uh oh, another update for my installation tool... But this time I have done some more preprocessing on the OSM data, so that it is easier to import it. Regarding the tools for installing OSM data into a Garmin GPS, it is finding a solution by trying to import the data into a GPX track file - which is not yet supported in the Garmin software. I have temporarily built a tool to extract the data from the TPX files and apply an auto-alignment, so that it can be imported into a GPX track file. You find it here.
Please don't confuse this with \"international naked\" or \"latin\" maps... my map (for Skopje at least) is far from naked. Nevertheless if anybody would like to work on it too, feel free to help with correcting the routing!
However, be aware of the following issues: you cannot create more than one mkgmap output file, using the mkgmap --cookie=xxxx option - so make sure you keep them. as stated by the author, you need the latest garmin sdk tools to be able to call mkgmap - there is a small update in the latest release. the output files are not OSM compliant (see mkgmap --test-compliant)! 7211a4ac4a
