MCprep is a blender python addon to make Minecraft renders and animations easier and faster. It automatically sets up better materials, imports fully animatable mob rigs, and can replace plain world-export models with 3D modeled and animated blocks, such as wind-swaying grass and wheat. Once you have imported a Minecraft world (e.g. from jmc2obj or Mineways), use MCprep to take your world to the next level.
Change your Minecraft player rig skin for another with a click of a button. MCprep allows you to easily add in skins from image files. You can even directly download your own player skin from right within the addon. Additionally, any skin that is used or applied gets stored for quick reuse in the future.

About linking, I think you should delete the current vincent and the rig, or start with a new scene, and relink both groups, _high and _low. If you start from a new scene, you could append the action that contains your animation and assign it again to the armature. Then, select the high group and do the make proxy thing, and select the blenrig armature. You'll see that the armture will control both versions of vincent. Then you have two options, you can put the low version in one layer and the high in another one, or you can delete the low version, and then from the Object panel - duplication (blender standard properties panels), you'll find a group field from where you can choose low or high, when you select the mesh of vincent.
Hi, I am a new to blender...any way. I have followed these steps to the T and yet still when I try to move Vincent, I cannot move any part of him. Any idea as to what I need to do? (I'm using blender 2.8)
I'm using Blender 2.7 on my mac (OS 10.9.2) and the console won't properly open. If I open blender.app/Contents/MacOS/blender, I get a new terminal window, but it's full of a mix of legible and illegible characters such as "œ˙Ì˛Ä&àÖÄH__PAGEZERO__TEXTÃÃ". No print statements or errors will log there from Blender, either.
The command open is meant to open editable files in a suitable editor, it would appear that it gets the idea that it can be handled with the terminal, except the new terminal will start in your home directory leaving blender unable to find it's resources. It's been a few years since I used OSX but it may also be trying to run the blender binary as a shell script. Either way open doesn't handle runnable binaries and isn't designed to.
You may also find it fairly easy to create an applescript that tells the terminal to change the working directory and start blender. This can easily be saved as an application you can start from the finder. Which I think would be (untested) -
CAD Sketcher is a free and open-source project looking to enhance the precision workflows in blender by bringing CAD like tools, features and usability to blender. It's still very early days and we have a bright future ahead. Below is a list of ways in which you can help:
Once downloaded double-click the dmg. Once you see the Blender icon hold the Control (^) button and click on that Blender icon. Select Open from the menu you are presented. Answer to the next dialog so that you Blender can be started. Let me know if this starts your Blender fine or whether it crashes/freezes.
I'm running into the same issue, freeze, with Blender 2.8.2.It happens when I do some mouse action like 'control/select vertex'. I can see something wrong where the blender command output bar at the bottom, outputs tons of commands. Perhaps some infinite loop?
*forgot to point out what would be cool is if a team could update the menu options and things like that to keep pace with the 10 people who own a computer who can run blender, like xcfe, gnome 2 was and always will be the most stable and reliable of homemade operating systems
What I am saying in essence is that, the blender development team is doing what they can with the resources they have; I have very little understanding of software development, but if they tell us that supporting hardware older than ten years is not an easy task, I think we should cut them slack and make do with what we have. Blender is being developed by a small team.
I am a Nigerian and new to blender and cg world. For me, what is more important is the blender 2.8 user interface because it is more user friendly than 2.79b. Unfortunately, 2.8 is not working on my HP EliteBook 2560p Notebook PC running windows 10 but 2.79b works perfectly OK. I would like to ask, if there are features that could be removed from 2.8 to make it works with all these older laptops like mine.Or could 2.7b have the 2.8 user interface. Pls.
I fully agree, I have a geforce 9500gt, concludes: the elder scrolls v skyrim, Far Cry 3, grand theft auto 4 etc. Game CS: GO. do you mind running all those games, why can not I be able to create assets in blender? only want to discontinue the 2.79 kkkk. look at the power of my board-> -GTX-750-Ti-vs-GeForce-GT-9500
7000 series GPUs from AMD are not all GCN based and most of the Tech Websites forget to include AMD Disrete mobile GPUs when discussing that 7000 being some magic number that guarantees that the GPU is GCN. I have a mobile Radeon 7650M based HP Probook and Blender 2.79b and blender reports that as Turks.
This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.

The plugin asks the user provide vanishing lines based on a reference photo. BLAM can then automatically reconstruct the geometry. This makes it easy to reproduce real-world architecture such as a room or a staircase within blender using only a photo. 2b1af7f3a8
